Meet Matt,
Your Coach!

“Find Your Direction. Chart Your Course.”

As someone who truly values human connection and enjoys bringing out the best in others, I’m excited to share a bit about myself. With almost four decades of experience in human resources management across various industries, including insurance, manufacturing, aftermarket services, and consulting, I’ve had the opportunity to develop a unique perspective on leadership and employee development. My expertise includes HR strategy development, talent development, employment law, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

Throughout my career, I’ve taken a coach approach to collaborating with leaders, a strategy that has set me apart from traditional HR professionals. In fact, I’ve been professionally coaching for twelve years, helping leaders unlock their potential and achieve their goals.

I’ve invested over 130 hours in formal coaching training and am proud to be a Senior Professional in Human Resources certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute. Additionally, I’m an active member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and am certified to use training material from many training organizations.

On a personal level, I grew up as the sixth of seven children, which taught me the importance of teamwork and navigating complex relationships. Despite facing challenges in my childhood, I gained a sense of purpose to help others become their best selves. My experiences at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, where I studied Industrial Relations and Philosophy, allowed me to grow my faith and critical thinking skills, and create safe spaces for others.

I’m also a family-oriented person, married to my lovely wife and proud father of three incredible young men. In my free time, you can often find me sailing canoeing or kayaking, road cycling, hiking, and camping, or singing barbershop acapella harmony.

My life has taught me that it’s not about me, it’s about helping others become all they were meant to become!
